This month we’re donating £4K to shelter – thanks to customers who auto-switched and left us review

WeFlip (that’s us folks!) are donating £4k to Shelter – the charity for those struggling with bad housing or homelessness – thanks to our customers who ‘flipped’, or switched if you’re boring, to a new energy provider online last month.

As part of the flipping process we asked customers to write a review of our service, and to incentivise them we donated £20 per review to Shelter.

And thanks to so many kind customers who left reviews, we’re donating a whopping £4000 to charity, raised in less than four weeks.

Plus, on top of the donation we were able to help save WeFlip customers on average £350* on their energy bills by helping them flip supplier. So while that’s bad news for some energy companies, it’s good news for customers – and Shelter.

We’ll be making the chunky donation to Shelter later this month – maybe with one of those big and tacky oversized cheques.

Shelter do some incredible work, helping millions of people every year who struggle with housing or homelessness. Shelter provides advice, support and legal services – with the mission that one day no one will ever be forced into the position to turn to them for help.
